Code of Conduct
School of Rock will not tolerate the following:
Conduct which disrupts or adversely affects our programs or activities of any kind including viewing inappropriate content on the internet, cell phones, or any other media device while on School of Rock premises or at School of Rock events.
Possession, distribution, purchasing, selling or the consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Possession, distribution, purchasing, selling or the consumption of any drug or controlled substance (including any prescription drug when not prescribed for a specific patient by a physician or licensed practitioner, or when used in a manner inconsistent with the prescription or prescribing physician or licensed practitioner’s instructions) or drug paraphernalia while participating in School of Rock programs or on School of Rock premises including, but not limited to rehearsals, performances and trip/tours regardless of location.
Use of tobacco or vaping products in School of Rock schools.
Bullying, harassing, fighting or threatening anyone, including teachers, staff, parents, visitors or other students, including cyber bullying.
Using vulgar or inappropriate language in any form (spoken or written).
Damaging School of Rock or other student’s property and/or equipment.
School of Rock expects you and your guests to:
Engage in safe, non-disruptive behavior at all times including never impeding, delaying, disrupting, or otherwise interfering with any School of Rock activity while on School of Rock premises or while participating in School of Rock events.
Comply with School of Rock’s Alcohol and Drug Policy prohibiting the use, possession, distribution, purchase, or sale of alcohol, drugs, and/or tobacco (including vaping) on School of Rock premises or related to School of Rock teaching or events.
Respect teachers and staff and do not disrupt them when they are teaching or working with students unless it is an emergency. We are more than happy to schedule a time for the teacher to meet with you.

School safety is a top priority. We have trained our teachers and staff members in our safety protocols and practices. We have also made MysafeSchoolofRock.com accessible to everyone. MySafeSchoolofRock is a secure, third-party reporting system that enables the reporter to remain anonymous if he or she desires. We will respect your desire to be anonymous and work with MySafeSchoolofRock.com to correspond with you and address your issue(s).

We encourage you to report anything that makes you or your student feel uncomfortable or concerns you. If you feel you are not being treated respectfully by a student, teacher, staff member, parent, sibling, family member, or anyone, please bring your feelings or concerns to our attention by speaking with the General Manager or reporting to MySafeSchoolofRock.com.
Safety is a top priority. Without safety, we cannot have a supportive and nurturing environment where great music happens and students can flourish.
